ManyChats — Start DMing your target audience on Instagram
What we like: Tim, a solo maker building Pallyy (social media scheduler for brands) now makes 74k MRR after years of struggling to find customers. He started with zero audience but reached out directly to his target audience on Instagram. Smart! If your audience is on Instagram too, ManyChat helps you automate, and manage DMs on Instagram. This tool has a pretty good free plan for solo makers (up to 1,000 contacts).
You can start a SaaS with zero audience.
You don't need followers, email lists or beta users.
One of the method I've tried was sending dm's on IG to social media managers.
It's not the most ideal method (or scalable), but some of those people are still with me 4 years later.

What we like: Shots is a free mockup tool, that will make any product updates shareable! You can use it to generate very cool mockups, use that for email marketing, or even share feature updates on Twitter, or Linkedin.
