👾 Useful tools

Interesting tools are recommended or widely used by other makers. Here is my top pick this week.

Scheduled.so — Post those pretty LinkedIn carousels, but directly from notion. For free!

What we like: I've used tools to publish content directly from notion to LinkedIn, but this one has something more. You can also plan carousels! We know how well they work on Linkedin. You only have to connect Notion, add your visual's PDF (from Canva for example), and then the tool does the rest for you. Oh, and it's 100% free. Enjoy! (All the information you need is here.)

Helpkit — Turn all your customer’s questions into a documentation site, directly from Notion (yes, again!)

What we like: You write your help articles in Notion, which can range from FAQs about your product, to videos with tutorials and HelpKit takes care of the rest. It's as simple as that. And the cool thing is, it loads faster than Notion and is SEO-optimized. Here is an example of how Softr uses it. (Discover a cool story from the maker, Dominik below!)

Submagic — Makers, this is the tool to add captions to your marketing videos, all generated by AI.

What we like: This is for you if you’re already marketing a lot, and going into videos. We know that TikTok is a solid marketing channel, but if you’re like me, you often turn off the sound. That’s when captions come in handy 🙃. Submagic is used a lot by creators, but also makers like Mike.

SenjaYour favorite tool to gather testimonials, and social proofs (and their design options 🤌)

What we like: Have a look at thesolomaker.com, I just added a testimonial using Senja. I like this tool because you can create a form, which makes it easy to ask for feedback from any users and add beautifully designed testimonials and walls of love directly to your website. But that’s not it, because you can use testimonials to create any social media posts or add them to your sales emails. Social proofs to drive sales, or convert visitors. Smart, no?

🤖 Tools to try

New tools were recently launched, and are worth a try for solo makers. Here’s my top pick this week.

Narrato — Create content using your website URL, and receive 15 posts every week to choose from!

What we like: I was looking for a way to post more regularly across socials for my product. While searching for something, I stumbled upon Narrator’s AI Genie. So here is the magic: The tool creates content automatically using your website URL (🤯), and sends you around 15 pieces of content every week. Honestly, it could be such a time saver. Let’s just see if the content quality is good enough! If it is, where can I sign?

Cat-GPTLike ChatGPT but meow-ch better.

What we like: That’s my treat to end the week on a MEOW note. I just have one question: who is the genius behind this?
